Love World Love Sloggi

"Earth Song" by Michael Jackson

What about sunrise
What about rain
What about all the things
That you said we were to gain...
What about killing fields
Is there a time
What about all the things
That you said was yours and mine...
Did you ever stop to notice
All the blood we've shed before
Did you ever stop to notice
The crying Earth the weeping shores?

Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah
Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah

What have we done to the world
Look what we've done
What about all the peace
That you pledge your only son...
What about flowering fields
Is there a time
What about all the dreams
That you said was yours and mine...
Did you ever stop to notice
All the children dead from war
Did you ever stop to notice
The crying Earth the weeping shores

Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah
Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah

I used to dream
I used to glance beyond the stars
Now I don't know where we are
Although I know we've drifted far

Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah
Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah
Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah
Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah

Hey, what about yesterday
(What about us)
What about the seas
(What about us)
The heavens are falling down
(What about us)
I can't even breathe
(What about us)
What about apathy
(What about us)
I need you
(What about us)
What about nature's worth
(ooo, ooo)
It's our planet's womb
(What about us)
What about animals
(What about it)
We've turned kingdoms to dust
(What about us)
What about elephants
(What about us)
Have we lost their trust
(What about us)
What about crying whales
(What about us)
We're ravaging the seas
(What about us)
What about forest trails
(ooo, ooo)
Burnt despite our pleas
(What about us)
What about the holy land
(What about it)
Torn apart by creed
(What about us)
What about the common man
(What about us)
Can't we set him free
(What about us)
What about children dying
(What about us)
Can't you hear them cry
(What about us)
Where did we go wrong
(ooo, ooo)
Someone tell me why
(What about us)
What about babies
(What about it)
What about the days
(What about us)
What about all their joy
(What about us)
What about the man
(What about us)
What about the crying man
(What about us)
What about Abraham
(What was us)
What about death again
(ooo, ooo)
Do we give a damn

Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah

When we talk about earth or the word 'world', automatically this song crosses my mind. Sang by our pop superstar. Late Michael Jackson.

Quotes by Mark Twain
Everybody is talking about the weather but nobody does anything about it.

What I love about the world?....

Lovely backdrop like this....

Blue sea, for us to wind surfing, snorkeling, water sports....

A rainbow

The desert

A green environment

My love for animal

My love for flowers

If we don't do a bit for our environment, Our home or so called earth will damage or will be destroyed. Like the pictures below.

1. The ice at Antartica will melts and will result in the rising of the sea level.

2. Polar bears are in serious danger of going extinct due to global warming. Rising temperatures cause sea ice to melt, especially in the summer months when the polar bears are the most active. Polar bears depend on sea ice as habitat for hunting and dens. As available sea ice decreases, polar bears have to swim farther to find suitable habitat and it takes much longer to find a meal. Compounding the problem, sea ice loss also impacts polar bears main food source--seals. Polar bears need our help and protection to ensure a long, healthy future for the species. The best way you can help polar bears is by reducing your carbon emission.

3. The quality of the oxygen in the atmosphere will be effected by the global warming.

Species that depend on one another may become out of sync. For example, plants could bloom earlier than their pollinating insects become active.

4. Warmer waters and more hurricanes. As the temperature of oceans rises, so will the probability of more frequent and stronger hurricanes. We saw in this in 2004 and 2005

5. Spread of disease. As northern countries warm, disease carrying insects migrate north, bringing plague and disease with them.

Tips for saving the environment

1.Create an environmentally-friendly school or workplace by encouraging conversation. Something as simple as carrying a handkerchief to dry your hands can save paper used to make paper towels.

2. Go Organic.
"Organic" refers to an earth friendly way of farming and processing foods using no synthetic chemicals to control bugs or weeds. Organic farming usually involves farming methods that help conserve soil and protect water supplies. Many organic farmers also plant specific bushes and flowers to attract beneficial insects and ward off unwanted pests. Milk and dairy products from cows that are not treated with hormones and antibiotics and are given organic feed are considered organic. If your food store doesn't yet carry organic food, ask the manager to explore the possibilities. You can also refer the manager to local organic farmers who would be eager to supply more stores with healthy produce.

3. Change the light bulbs.
The hottest thing in household energy savings is the compact fluorescent lightbulb (CFL), a funny-looking swirl that fits into standard sockets. CFLs cost three to five times as much as conventional incandescent bulbs yet use one-quarter the electricity and last several years longer. They are available virtually everywhere lightbulbs are sold. Most labels don't say "CFL" (GE calls its bulbs Energy Savers), and in some cases the telltale twist is enclosed in frosted glass. The wattage gives them away: many 7-watt CFLs are comparable to a regular 40-watt bulb, 26 watts is the typical CFL equivalent of 100 watts and so on. Or just look for the Energy Star label.

4. Go online.
Eliminating your paper trail by banking and paying bills online does more than save trees. It also helps reduce fuel consumption by the trucks and planes that transport paper checks. If every U.S. home viewed and paid its bills online, the switch would cut solid waste by 1.6 billion tons a year and curb greenhouse-gas emissions by 2.1 million tons a year, according to Javelin Strategy & Research. Worried about security? Don't be. Just ignore e-mails "phishing" for personal data, and monitor all (electronic) statements for any unauthorized debits. Report problems immediately, and your credit won't take the hit. To avoid unnecessary carbon dioxide-emitting car trips to the bank on payday, ask your employer to directly deposit your paycheck. You'll get your money faster that way too.
5. Say no to plastic bags.
The plastic bags you bring home from the supermarket probably end up in a landfill. Every year, more than 500 billion plastic bags are distributed, and less than 3% of those bags are recycled. They are typically made of polyethylene and can take up to 1,000 years to biodegrade in landfills that emit harmful greenhouse gases. Reducing your contribution to plastic-bag pollution is as simple as using a cloth bag (or one made of biodegradable plant-based materials) instead of wasting plastic ones. Like the one practiced by Selangor government. No plastics on Saturday. If you want one, you have to pay for it. It is better for us to bring the green bag on Saturday shopping.

6. Last but not least, Let us wear range of lingerie made out of recycled material. We can help save the environment too.....Wow a must buy!!!! The material used is so light......don't believe me???. Please head to the departmental store nearby now....yeah you hear me baby....now......SEE IT, TOUCH IT, BUY IT and....YOU WILL LOVE IT....
